If Elena chooses Damon
I will be SO happy, but SO sad for Stefan. I love him so much, and he makes an amazing boyfriend to Elena…but I just think Damon and Elena belong together. (Just my opinion, don’t jump on me Stelena fans!! :)) Whoever she chooses, though, I hope they both end up happy.

About Damon being OOC in the flashback when him and Elena first met:
I don’t think he was out of character at all. He wasn’t the normal, snarky, sarcastic Damon, but think about it. He was mesmerized by Elena, because she looked just like Katherine. Hell, he thought she was Katherine. Would you act normal if you saw that?
